The "R" in Revelation Theory of Learning represents repetition, which is very essential when it comes to education, or anything else someone is trying to learn. Think about it. For example, if you are a basketball player and your coach just added a new play; how do you learn that play. By practicing(repetition) that play over and over again until your know that play without your coach having to tell you each and every step. That same method can be applied in the classroom. The more you practice a lesson the easier it becomes. Practice come from doing your assigned classwork and homework. Teachers want their students to learn the material they are trying to teach. That's why they assign classwork and homework. It's not to punish their students but to help the student to learn and understand the lessons; plus it also gives the teacher feedback on what areas their students may need more attention. Repetition is the basics to learning anything. The more you repeat something the more likely you will learn that something. I once heard this quote, "A lesson is repeated until it is learned". The person that told this to me was referring to people who constantly keep getting in trouble, but that saying can also hold true to school. If you don't get the lesson the first time what happens. You have to repeat it. That could mean retaking a class for a second time or repeating an entire grade. So for your on sake practice the lessons the first time with repetition.
